⬥ Parents must regularly visit school websites & software to know all the necessary information of the school activities. They can also respond or give their feedback    through School Dairy/ School Mail Id facility provided by the school.


⬥ It is always advisable to write to the school about the problems of your child. Your letters will be replied to, after discussion with the concerned teachers and co- ordinator, you can also appreciate the efforts put by the school.


⬥Any communication made by the Parent/Guardian should be addressed to the Principal through the class teacher and all correspondence from the School to the parents will be made by the Principal.


⬥ Students are advised not to bring valuable articles, any other electronic gadgets. School shall not undertake  any responsibility for the loss.


⬥ Parents are required to cooperate with the school in its attempt to help their child/children progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and take interest in their child’s work. They should check the almanac every day and note the homework and other instructions given. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any circular/ notice/ invitation etc. has been  issued.


⬥ Care must be taken of all school property and if any damage is done, it must be repaired by the concerned student together with a fine imposed for the offense.


⬥All students are expected to report to the school on the notified date at the beginning of the term.


⬥It is compulsory for the student to have 90% of the attendance in the year to make him/her eligible to appear in the final examination. Additionally, a fine will be collected from students who do not meet this attendance requirement.


⬥ Once the name is struck off from the roll, readmission can be done with due permission of  the Principal.


⬥ Parents must first consult the school calendar, date sheets and other circulars, before making enquiries on the phone.


⬥ Parents must provide the school with correct mobile numbers and also inform about the    changes (if any) so that SMS containing important messages like attendance, marks, holidays etc. can be sent.


⬥ Students must wear their ID cards every day and at all times within school premises/Educational Trip/Outing. Each student will receive their ID card and tag once a year. If an ID card or tag is lost, misplaced, or damaged a replacement will be provided for a fee. Please ensure that these items are kept safe.


⬥ Children when fall sick, should not be sent to school to attend tests/classes, must inform the co-ordinator /Class Teacher.


⬥ Parents are not allowed to enter the classroom to see their children or teachers during school hours without prior permission of the Principal.


⬥The name, admission no. class, section & house of the pupil should be clearly marked on all belongings of the child like sweaters etc. School will not be responsible for any material lost.


⬥The ward of those parents who avoid meeting the authorities when advised to do so, may not be allowed to attend the classes.


⬥The students who habitually keep indulging in cheating, theft, misbehavior or misconduct, despite repeated warning and constant efforts by the staff to improve their  behavior , will be expelled even at the time of Final Examination. These type of cases will be judged by a Disciplinary Committee, appointed by the Principal.
⬥ Parents should ensure that their wards prepare their lessons well and do their homework regularly.


⬥ Parents should make sure that for any absence from the school, written intimation is sent to the class teacher. In case of emergency only, short leave will be granted.


⬥ Students will not be allowed to go for drinking water after every period except in the Short – Break. The students are requested to bring water bottles to school.


⬥ No student shall indulge in any of the following practices: Usage of foul language (Unparliamentary language) & misbehave with the conductor or the driver while traveling in the bus. Student will be punished/expelled from the school if found involved in above mentioned activities.


⬥ Important messages are communicated, well in advance, through the students or through remarks of class teachers in their diary or SMS. Students will be responsible for any misinterpretation of any rule of keeping the parents in the dark about the remarks  given by the authority of the School.


⬥ Parents are requested to attend the Parent Teacher Meeting without Fail will be scheduled as per the  Academic Calendar.


⬥ Students’ birthdays: No cake cutting / No celebrations will be entertained.

 

⬥ Students who are late to school three times in a month will incur a fine.

 

⬥ Students who miss exams due to medical issues can only take a reexamination by paying a reexamination fee

 

⬥ It is compulsory for every student to participate in all the extra-curricular activities of the school especially in Annual Sports Day and Annual Function unless prior permission is taken from the Principal for genuine reasons.

Coming to school regularly is an integral part of a student’s learning. This inculcates discipline and punctuality in a student, which in turn creates moral values and holistic education gained by a child in the school environment.

No student will be allowed to enter the class without a leave application duly signed by the parent if he/she has been absent the previous day.

Leave of Absence:

  1. Students who have been sick for more than 3 days have to bring a medical certificate from their doctor on re-joining the
  2. All students must attend school on the reopening day after every
  3. It is mandatory for all students to maintain regular attendance during the course of the Academic Session, 90% attendance is mandatory to enable them to appear for the Final Assessment/ Year Ending

A  certificate of merit will be given to the students with 100% attendance.

  1. Provision of half day leave is expunged, but in an emergency, request can be considered for genuine Any type of leave will however be granted on the written request of authorised signatory via the School Diary.
  2. Leave will be granted only for serious illness, death of near and dear ones, natural calamity, marriage of own brother/sister, aunty, uncle (mother’s or father’s brother or sister),for any other convincing
  3. No leave will be entertained during Tests/ Oral Assessments/ Examinations except in medical cases in serious illness

LEAVE CRITERIA  FOR  STUDENTS OF  BOARD CLASSES WILL  BE   DIFFERENT.

  1. Those who come late or remain absent on the previous day must bring a note in the designated Late Coming Record Page in the School Diary only, giving reason for late coming, duly signed by authorised
  2. A pupil who is found to be habitual absent without any bona-fide reason or any explanation from parents or guardians is liable to have, his / her name struck off from the roll of the school register and information will be passed on to the parents/guardians.
  3. Name of the student will be struck off from the roll if he/she is absent continuously for a period of five days or more without any information or permission and re-admission procedure will be
  4. A student must not leave the school during the working hours without a Gate-
  5. If the child remains absent for three subsequent days, parent must accompany the child and meet the Chief Co-ordinator /Vice Principal to continue his/her

Requirement of Attendance:

  1. No student from the School affiliated to the Board shall be eligible to take the examination unless he/she has completed 90% of attendance counted from the opening of class X upto the first of the month preceding the month in which the Board examination
  2. Exemption from W.E./Art Education/P & HE may be granted to a candidate on medical grounds provided the application is supported by a certificate given by a Registered Medical Officer of the rank not below that of Asstt. Surgeon and forwarded by the Head of the School with his recommendations. CBSE Rules for Condonation of Shortage of Attendances
  3. CBSE states that if a candidate’s attendance falls short of the prescribed percentage, Principal of the school may submit his/her name to the Board If the candidate is still short of the required percentage of attendance within three weeks of the commencement of the examination, Principal shall report the case to the Regional Officer concerned immediately. If in the opinion of the Principal, the candidate deserves special consideration, he/she may submit her/his recommendation to the Regional Officer concerned not later than three weeks before the commencement of the examination for condonation of shortage in attendance by the Chairman, CBSE, who may issue orders as he may deem proper.
  4. CBSE also states that shortage up to 15% only may be condoned by the Cases of candidates with attendance below 60% in class X as the case may be, shall be considered for condonation of shortage of attendance by the Chairman only in exceptional circumstances created on medical grounds, such as candidate suffering from serious diseases like cancer, AIDS, TB or similar serious diseases requiring long period of hospitalization.

Students should converse only in English in the school premises and should maintain discipline and observe good manners. Criticism of the teacher or school must be avoided.

⦿ Every child should take proper care of the school property. Damage done even by accident should be reported to the Class Teacher/Co-ordinator/Vice-Principal/ Principal damage cost will be recovered from the concerned student.

⦿ Expensive things are not allowed.

⦿ Every student should take care of the private property. Money should not be lent or  borrowed. The school is not responsible for the goods lost.

⦿ Students suffering from any contagious disease will not be allowed to attend classes until he/she recovers from it and submits a medical certificate from a doctor.

⦿ Bicycles must be properly locked and kept in the cycle stand. School will not be responsible for the Vehicles /bicycle kept outside the school premises.

⦿ Students should actively participate in all the school activities.

⦿ Every student should carry his/her school diary to school daily.

⦿  The warning bell before a class or assembly is a signal for all to go to the assembly or to their respective classrooms. This should be done in silence. Changing of class rooms during periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.

⦿ Students should be very neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days. No relaxation is acceptable in this regard. General Turnout of Student will be checked during Assembly or at any time during their stay in the school by the staff or by the Student Prefects and defaulters will be given certain task to complete the task given. a constructive way.

⦿ Monthly haircut is mandatory. Boys are required to have short hair with short side looks. Using of hair gel is not permitted. Hairstyle should be according to the norms of the school. No elaborate hair do is allowed for girls as well. Girls with long hair should plait it ‘2’with Black ribbons/Rubber band/Hair Band.

⦿ Wearing low waist trousers and altered trousers to make it more tapered towards bottom are strictly not allowed.

⦿ Nails should be clipped short and kept clean. No nail polish is allowed. Personal hygiene to be maintained. Daily bath is compulsory for all students.

⦿ Shirt Buttons should not be kept open and the shirt has to be tucked properly, irrespective of the dress i.e. uniform or coloured dress. Belts to be worn tightly and visibly.

⦿ Designs, lines, arts, writings, patching, paintings or pictures on pants or shirts are not allowed.

⦿Shouting, whistling and running in corridors are strictly prohibited.

⦿The students should bring tiffin, napkin and handkerchief daily.

⦿Students will not be permitted to leave the school during the school hours.

⦿ The School reserves right, to terminate the schooling of students for unsatisfactory progress in studies from STD VI or whose conduct is unauthorised and unparliamentary.

⦿Bullying the Classmates and Schoolmates will be viewed Strictly.

⦿ Students must attend festivals and functions celebrated in the school.

⦿ Parents should co-operate with the school in its attempt to help the Child’s progress, paying attention to the punctuality, regularity and discipline and should also take interest in their child’s studies & other activities.

⦿ Visiting hours for meeting the Principal -11.00 to 1.00 pm on Monday & Friday. Parents are requested to meet the Principal as per their requirements only during the stipulated time.

⦿ Taking leave during working days is strongly discouraged. Parents are responsible to make up for the loss of the studies in case of leave taken. The school will expect these students to be at par with the class in every way and that must be ensured by the parents.

⦿ It has been observed with dismay that students turn up late to the school which is undesirable. Henceforth latecomers will be sent back home. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

⦿ Partying in the classroom is strictly prohibited.

⦿ No sharp objects like blade, knife, scissors, and needle should be sent to school to ensure safety.

⦿ Valuable articles like gold/diamond jewellery (chain & danglers), facial make up like eye makeup henna decorating palms & feet is strictly prohibited in the school. Electronic gadgets (mobiles, i-pod and camera) are not permitted inside the school premises as per CBSE school rules. If found, the articles will be confiscated and will be returned only after 6 months. If such instances are repeated, then the child may be asked to leave the school.

⦿ Every student will go home only by school transport/authorized transport or with the authorized escort of their own. Regarding authorization of escort, parents are requested to submit a written authorization letter. The school should be informed immediately in writing about the change of authorized escort.

⦿ School does not allow short leave of students. In case of emergency parents should submit application written request along with their photo ID.

⦿ School property damage will be fined accordingly.

Your safety and protection is our first and most important concern.

  1. No student should put themselves in danger. If you believe that obeying an instruction from a friend/teacher would put you at risk of injury or harm, politely say No and ignore the
  2. No student should be alone in a room with any one Student/staff If you find yourself in a room alone with a Student/teacher, politely leave the room. You can continue outside.
  3. Say no to Bullying, threatening and teasing otherwise be ready to face the
  4. If you see anyone being bullied, teased, threatened, etc., in the school or by anyone from this school (whether the person is being bullied is you or someone else), you must report the incident IMMEDIATELY to the Vice Principal /
  5. Students at Oasis do NOT call people by nick-names or else other than the person’s
  6. Any adult on school grounds that is not known to you as a teacher, staff member or parent, (or who is not wearing a school ID badge) must be reported IMMEDIATELY to
  7. You do NOT accept lifts to or from school from anyone other than your parents, or someone known to you/your parents/carers have
  8. No one should touch anyone in the school unless they do so in supervised sport or classroom activities. This means there is no touching…either affectionately or otherwise
  9. There is no dangerous play at this ..no pushing, no throwing objects of any kind (unless within supervised sport), no playing pranks like pulling out chairs, tripping, pushing in on lines, etc.,
  10. No student is permitted to open a closed door without a teacher’s
  11. No student or students should be seen alone in a class room without teacher
  12. If you consider the behaviour or conduct of any staff member/Student at this school ‘inappropriate’, you must report the incident immediately to the School Principal or coordinator who will conduct a confidential investigation, take appropriate action including where necessary, reporting of the incident to the appropriate

Parents are requested to impart health education to their children to enable the following :
1.Maintain personal hygiene.  
2.Eat balanced diet.
3.Drink clean water.
4.Follow a regular exercise schedule.
5.Have an adequate sleep of at least 6-8 hours.

Parents are expected to :
1. Immunize their children as per the doctor’s

2. Not to send children suffering from conjunctivitis, chicken pox, measles, influenza, mumps or any contagious diseases to school till the prescribed period of infection is over

3. Produce a doctor’s certificate permitting the child to attend school when a student returns to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious.

4. Inform the school authorities in writing if the child is suffering from a chronic disease stating the history of illness and special precautions to be taken, if any.

  1. Subject to availability of seats, students may avail bus facility as per existing rules and
  2. Bus fees will have to be remitted along with the tuition
  3. The school does not entertain any change in the bus route to suit the individual’s
  4. Bus facility cannot be withdrawn in the month of May, June and December to
  5. Bus facility will be charged for the entire academic
  6. Students are expected to be on the right side of their bus stops along with escorting person at least five minutes before the arrival of the
  7. Buses will not wait for the late comers. The drivers are authorised to stop buses at the designated stop only, unless, directed by the transport
  8. Objects of any kind must not be thrown inside or outside the
  9. Students are not allowed to change school buses or go by other means of transport without written permission from the Principal/Vice
  10. The driver’s attention must not be diverted for any reason. If any such case comes to notice bus facility may be
  11. Indisciplinary behaviour is strictly In such case bus service will be withdrawn immediately without prior intimation. Admission fees is non refundable.
  12. Students will be held responsible and punished for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism and fined
  1. All members of the staff and the students of the school are the members of the school library. Every student shall produce his/her school identity card for entering the library.
  2. Personal belongings like books, periodicals, bags, umbrellas ; should not be taken to the library or reading table. Paper and pen may be taken inside the library for the purpose of taking down notes from the reference books.
  3. SILENCE should be observed strictly within the library, at the reading table and in the reading hall
  4. Books are arranged from left to right and from top to Books, periodicals etc.; shall not be misplaced from their position in the shelf or on the table or shall not be carried out from the library.
  5. Books, periodicals, manuscripts, maps etc.; shall not be spoiled and no marks shall be made upon them. Those involved in such activities will be dealt with seriously.
  6. Students who wish to use the reference sources, text books, journals, previous question papers etc. have to present their identity card at the entrance and the same has to be taken back while leaving the library
  7. Books will be issued only to those who produce their Library Membership The card will be issued on producing school identity card and registering their name as member of the library.
  8. The period of loan of books is 10 Failing to return a book on or before the due date a student has to pay an overdue charge of Rs. 1/-(one rupee) per day. Each student can borrow only one book at a time. So long as the membership card remains in the library the student is responsible for the book and when the book is returned the student should get back his/her card
  9. Books on loan may be called back at any time if any special need arises. Sub lending of books/ cards is not allowed
  10. When a book is issued to a reader he/she must point out to the librarian any defect/ damage noticed concerning the book; otherwise the presumption will be that the book was quite intact when issued
    1. If a book is damaged or lost by a member he/she will have to replace it or pay the present cost, postage, packing and forwarding charges, fine etc. within the time fixed by the Principal
    2. If one volume of a set is damaged or lost by a member he/she must replace it by a copy of the same If such a copy is not available he/she shall pay for it within the time fixed by the Principal.
    3. The dues of out- of – print books shall be determined by the Principal
  11. Outgoing students should return their membership card at the end of the academic year. Defaulters will be charged Rs. 20/-each. A member against whom an overdue or other charge is outstanding, shall not be allowed to borrow books until he/she has cleared the dues.
  12. Members of the staff may keep with them textbooks for the whole academic year and other books for thirty They should return all books at the end of the academic year.
  13. Students are expected to spend at least fifteen minutes every day in the library/ reading room, reading papers/ magazines etc.
  14. Those who fail to abide by the rules will be deprived of the privilege of using the library
