Oasis School, Raidurg is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of English Department to lead and manage our English faculty team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, academic leadership, curriculum planning skills, and the ability to inspire students and teachers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the English department in academic planning, coordination, and execution.
- Supervise and mentor English teachers to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Design and review curriculum plans, assessments, and teaching strategies.
- Monitor student performance and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct regular department meetings, teacher evaluations, and professional development sessions.
- Collaborate with school leadership to align departmental goals with school vision.
- Organize literary events, competitions, and enrichment activities.
- Ensure effective use of technology and resources in English instruction.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, reports, and academic records as per school standards.
